B2B Product Showcase Module

This module was designed to supplement the current family of B2B Modules. It will provide our OMS SQL user with a means to showcase their products directly to their wholesale customers. This Product Showcase presents merchandise similar to a retail-shopping cart and will help attract new customers to you.

Unlike the current B2B module that is formatted for quick order entry by Company personnel, Sales reps and your customers, this site will be similar in format to the www.egghead.com and the www.znetshows.com internet sites that are highly trifurcated. The Egghead site is designed for high visibility, quick decision on making by the buyer and ease of navigation through many categories. The Egghead site is designed for retail and is used by many businesses to fulfill their needs. It is not a wholesale site but the format can be modified to OMS.

The Znet site is a combination site for Wholesalers and retail customers. With a password that is issued by Znet, the site changes to become a very effect wholesale site. What both of these sites accomplish that the current B2B OMS site does not are sales! Both of these sites are designed to encourage their customers, new or existing to purchase featured items, specials in a visually pleasing format. It encourages the viewer to make purchases. OMS B2B is primarily designed for quick order entry of items already known to the user. It does not solicit new customers to you nor "pushes" any category or items to the customer for their consideration. With the addition of this powerful Product Showcase module, you know have the tools to accomplish a complete B2B e-commerce solution.

Our Product showcase eliminates the need to have a web site that features your products. If a new wholesale customer makes their way to your site and wants to obtain a password to purchase your products, all they have to do it complete an application and it will be e-mailed to you for your approval. Once you have qualified the customer and have decided to issue them a password, you enter their customer information into OMS and add their password to the B2B module.

One of the future enhancements to the Product Showcase, like the Znet site, OMS will have the ability to combine a retail site with a wholesale site by showing retail prices until your wholesale customer types in their password, then the wholesale prices will then appear for their ordering. For those OMS users who do not want to compete with their retail customers, a store locater can be added to the site to allow the retail customer to type in their zip code and get a listing of all stores in their immediate area. If no stores are available locally, the retail customer can be directed to your B2C Shopping cart to purchase direct from you. By doing the above, you are not competing with your retailer but are working with them promoting your products on the Internet with their Store Locations. If no stores are within a reasonable distance to the customer, then you should not hesitate to sell them directly. If you prefer, redirect them to a listing of your customers on-line store sites. This is not currently offered in the first release of this module and will be an additional cost for this powerful option.
